It is an original George Brett and this was his first appearance in SLU, as it's from 1988.

Figure is firmly sealed to the card and the bubble is clear. Card is very nice with only a very small vein in the top right corner. Bubble is crisp and clear and the figure is gorgeous. With the vein, it has been graded AFA 80+ by the Action Figure Authority.

Subgrades are C80 B85 F85, which would've warranted an 85 from AFA just a few years ago. This piece was freshly graded this year and as such, the case is in fantastic condition with no chips or cracks. It's still in the original AFA baggie, which caused a little blurriness in the pics. I've got other graded'88 Royals listed as well, so check them out. Please check out my feedback. Items arriving in better condition than expected and solid packaging are prevailing themes. I pack extremely well and have never had a claim due to damage. I assure you that you'll get a well-packed item in a sturdy box. At the end of the day, I overestimate some and underestimate some, depending on the final destination.
