1931 BUGATTI ROYALE COUPE DE VILLE. This item is brand new, never used and still in its original packaging. We carefully opened the box for the very first time and took these photos.
Then, just as carefully, we re-packed the model back into the original box. No book or other papers other than the hang tag still attached to the car. This is the ORIGINAL model issued in 1991 and not later re-issued model, see below. Franklin Mint 1:16 1931 Bugatti Royale Coupe De Ville (1:16) (Reissued 6/1997) (Discontinued).
Reviewed by: Jay Engel This beautiful replica first appeared in September, 1991, as the Car of Kings.... The King of Cars at a time when exotic classic models were a heady trip even for the extremely well-heeled.

Without any overt reference to the fact that this was, indeed, a reissue. The price, however, was new... The reissue may be differentiated from the original by the presence of a mark on the undercarriage.
