This is a rare figurine of Glenn Miller made by Royal Doulton in the United Kingdom. Commemorating his life in music and service. Large, high gloss character jug features a multicolor design and is stamped by the brand.

Signed by designer William K. It is a part of the Toby Jugs collection. D6970 item number and made in 1994. It's in excellent condition!

Glenn Miller D6970 (browns and beige coloration). Harper, issued 1994 - 1998. This jug commemorates the 50th anniversary of the disappearance of Glenn Miller in an airplane over the Bay of Biscay in 1944.

Glenn wears his uniform and a pair of metal glasses. The backstamp includes his date of birth and death on the jugs issued in 1994. I will be posting other royal doulton Toby jugs if you'd like to see my other items.
