Offered here is an extremely rare porcelain figurine,'Catherine of Braganza' HN 4267, part of the Stuart Queens Collection, and a limited edition figurine in which only 2500 were made in total. Designed by Pauline Parsons in 2001 as Catherine of Braganza (November 25, 1638 - December 31, 1705) who was queen consort of England, of Scotland and Ireland from 1662 to 1685 as the wife of King Charles II, and reflects the utmost of artistic detailing in a orange and white regal gown as she holds a feather, her arm leaning against a green velvet and wood royal chair. Measures approximately 9 high and is in flawless, showcase condition. A very impressive figurine for the most distinctive of Royal Doulton figurine collections. For vintage/antique pieces, most come from well-loved and well-cared for homes and while we strive for pristine quality, may not always be in absolute perfe. Every attempt will be made to describe any obvious defects but we ask that all pictures are examined carefully for exact conditions. Variations in color/texture/finish are also often part of the charm of vintage and antique pieces and may also be evident and or visible at times.
